Peoples of Theros
While humans are the most populace, and possibly oldest mortal species on Theros, they have long shared the region with the enigmatic Tritons, wild Centaurs, belligerent Minotaurs, rowdy Satyrs, and noble catfolk (both Leonines and Tabaxi).
Theros is remarkably diverse for its size, but the portion of its lands covered by the University make the rest look heterogeneous. The presence of the University around the Library has attracted immigrants from hidden pockets of civilization and far away lands, and has even led to the creation of new species by way of transmutation or hybridization.
- Elves, Half-Elves, Halflings, Gnomes, and Dwarves are unsurprisingly abundant. Collectively, they are second only to humans in their remarkable knack for somehow turning up in almost any corner of the multiverse.

- Goblins, Orcs ("big goblins"), Half-Orcs ("goblin-women"), Hobgoblins ("cool goblins"), and Bugbears ("big, ugly, strong goblins") serve in various roles, though tensions between Theros and the "Big Goblin Homeland" have generated some mistrust and division. (Note: These descriptions come from the educational materials provided by the "Goblin Heritage" academic organization at Witherbloom College.)

| While university philosophers generally agree that the curvature of the world is subjective to the observer, these astronomers are developing their new "Pizza-Earth" theory. |
Although some of the cities and villages of Theros still struggle with accepting the more uncommon faces that thrive in the university, the treaty between the five founding dragons and the pantheon of Theros mandates hospitality and fair treatment of all living peoples that occupy Theros and the University. Although, sometimes the people of Theros argue over the definition of "living".

Divine constructs and artificial lifeforms such as anvilwrought, autognomes, warforged, and
reborn are common in Theros. For the most part, their position with respect to Theros's laws and customs is undignified, but a few have been able to push their way past societal barriers and make their way into the University.
